Avery Law is delighted to have advised Limitless Travel, the world's leading travel company for people with disabilities, on its £6.5 million Series A funding round.

The round was led by Beringea, with support from Social Impact, Active Partners, Adjuvo and David Bernstein. The funding will enable Limitless to enhance its technology, expand its product range, and build the platform for international growth.

Limitless was founded by Angus Drummond, who was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at the age of 22. A former investment banker, Angus left his job to travel the world and come to terms with his condition. During a year-long trip to 35 countries, he experienced first-hand the challenges faced by disabled travellers—from lack of reliable information to poor accessibility and support. A particularly defining moment came at Machu Picchu, where he was unexpectedly faced with 150 steps despite being assured the journey was step-free. After a seven-hour struggle to the top, the idea for Limitless Travel was born.

Limitless was launched in 2015 and has since helped thousands of customers travel with confidence, comfort and dignity. The company curates fully accessible group holidays, with trained carers as tour managers, and vets all accommodation and excursions to meet specific access needs. Its offering has grown from UK coach trips to include short-haul and long-haul flights, cruises and bucket-list experiences.

Drummond’s ambition is not only to revolutionise travel for people with disabilities, but also to challenge the wider travel industry to take accessibility seriously. He commented in his interview with the Times: “We’re really building a platform for change to give people the confidence to travel and to make them feel they can travel in a way that anybody else can, if not better. To give them that feeling of joy and normality you get from a holiday.”

The Avery Law team advised on all aspects of the round, including deal structuring, investor negotiations and completion.
