Jessica is a skilled lawyer with a strong focus on capital raising transactions. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Law and Social Science from Macquarie University in 2018, followed by the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law, leading to her admission as an Australian Qualified Solicitor in the New South Wales Supreme Court in 2019. Before relocating to London and joining the firm, Jessica gained valuable experience at an award-winning startup law firm in Sydney, where she developed a deep understanding of innovative business practices and legal strategies.

Jessica has been working with Avery Law since 2020 and her expertise spans assisting startups, entrepreneurs, and established businesses in securing funding for growth and expansion. Jessica specialises in advising and negotiating funding rounds for both startups and investors, shareholder agreements, equity and debt fundraising arrangements, corporate governance, sweat equity arrangements, the structuring of vesting schedules for founders and M&A transactions.
