Jessica joined Avery Law in 2024, bringing over 15 years of experience at DWF Law, following her training at Eversheds. Jessica is known for her pragmatic and straightforward approach, delivering clear and practical advice to clients across a variety of sectors, including retail, social care, local government, technology, and finance.
Jessica specialises in all aspects of employment law, regularly representing clients in complex employment tribunal cases, including whistleblowing, discrimination, and unfair dismissal complaints. She also provides comprehensive support on managing employment relationships, assisting with grievance, disciplinary, and capability procedures.
In addition to her contentious work, Jessica advises on non-contentious matters such as TUPE, collective consultations, redundancy processes, and drafting employment contracts and policies. She is experienced in advising both employers and employees on restrictive covenants and settlement agreements.
