Simon is a banking and finance lawyer with over 25 years’ experience in advising both lenders and borrowers in real estate secured lending and general corporate lending. He has particular expertise in non-traditional financing methods including offshore lending structures.

A specialist in corporate lending and real estate finance work, Simon acts for domestic and international institutions, banks, trustees, borrowers and high-net-worth individuals advising on both offshore and onshore lending structures.

Simon’s varied career has, following qualification at Clifford Chance, included spending periods in-house at Deutsche Bank, Kensington Mortgages as head of group legal, and as a Director of a large multi jurisdictional fund administrator based in Jersey where he set up a successful corporate fund administration platform in several jurisdictions. He has more recently built a legal practice acting for mainstream buy to let, bridge financing and commercial Lenders.

Simon is a commercial and pragmatic adviser who is able to deal with all aspects of the lending process and given his varied and lengthy experience understands better than most the needs of his clients and the requirements of an ever changing lending market.
