Stepan is an associate solicitor at Avery Law.

After completing military service and moving over to Nottingham Stepan graduated with LLB (Hons) in Law from Nottingham Law School in 2018. Whilst attending Nottingham Law School Stepan was elected as a student representative for his fellow course mates and was awarded with a Student Rep of the Year award. Stepan also volunteered to take part in a pilot project hosted by two universities in collaboration whereby Stepan and three other students held a webinar for EU entrepreneurs explaining what business structures are available under the English legal system. Being in the final year of his undergraduate degree, Stepan proved to have particular interest in corporate law by choosing to write 8,000 words on one of the controversial principles in corporate law - Piercing the corporate veil.

In continuing to pursue the career as a solicitor Stepan moved to London and completed his Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in 2019 with having particular interest in the Mergers and Acquisition module. Stepan begun his legal career as a bilingual in-house paralegal (Russian/English) in an international group where he assisted senior solicitors with legal work in the corporate and commercial areas of law.

Stepan completed his training contract with Avery Law in 2022.
